About
I am a furniture designer educated at The Royal Danish Academy in Copenhagen. In my work, I explore the relationship between people, objects and the sensory experience of materials. I have a particular interest in wood, tactility and craftsmanship, and I investigate how furniture can engage the body and senses while creating experiences and connections.
Through a research-driven and experimental design process, I combine digital technologies with hands-on making. I am interested in exploring how material, form and surface can influence the way we experience and interact with an object.
"Just for a Moment" explores how furniture can create a space for pause, presence and sensory awareness in everyday life. Designed for semi-public environments, the project takes the form of a mindful chair that invites the user to step away from everyday distractions and reconnect with the body and senses. Through tactile wooden surfaces and organic forms, the chair encourages a sensory experience that invites the user to slow down and become present in the moment. The project is informed by research into mindfulness, haptic perception and the relationship between people and objects. By combining furniture design with sensory interaction, "Just for a Moment" explores how a chair can become more than a functional object: a tool for slowing down and being present.
