I am a final year Product Design & Technology student at University of Limerick, passionate about sustainability, intuitive physical design, and the intersection between people and the natural world. My work often challenges passive consumption habits, favoring analog, human centered solutions inspired by biomimicry and circular systems.
I believe design is a way to return to nature - to move in step with it's rhythms, learn from it's intelligence, and work with its materials - valuing presence over convenience, and participation over automation.
ZEER is a zero-energy food storage system designed to reduce household food waste by making food care part of a daily routine. It is 3D-printed in porous stoneware clay and cools through natural evaporation, requiring no electricity. A removable salt tray regulates humidity, while a mesh rack keeps produce visible and accessible. Inspired by traditional clay coolers and reimagined for modern kitchens, ZEER encourages a slower, more intentional relationship with food. By turning storage into a hands-on ritual, it helps people reconnect with what they have and make more conscious, sustainable choices in the kitchen each day.
