Hi, I’m Ema, a graphic designer based in Dublin with a love for colour, visual identity and all things beautifully designed. I’m especially drawn to branding and web design, where I can combine thoughtful strategy with expressive visuals. I love building identities that feel distinctive, cohesive and full of personality, from the tiniest detail to the bigger picture. I’m naturally curious, enthusiastic and always looking for new ways to make an idea visually engaging. Whether I’m developing a brand, designing a website, a book or exploring a completely new concept, I’m happiest when I’m creating something that makes people stop and look twice
This project explores how microplastics are present yet invisible parts of everyday life and how it affects us negatively. Through an awareness campaign made up of a poster and social media reels/tiktoks that lead to an informative, storytelling and interactive website, the project aims to communicate a serious topic in a way that feels engaging, relatable, and easy to digest rather than fear-driven or overwhelming. Through the website, people can learn about microplastics, their impact, and ways to reduce exposure, ending with a quiz to reflect on their own habits. This project spreads awareness around a topic that often goes unnoticed despite affecting everyone.
