Drawn to a visionary attitude toward fashion and engaging in a highly experimental approach to design and pattern making.
This project emerged from an abiding fascination with outer space, particularly inspired by sci-fi classics like the Alien trilogy, Alita, Dead Space, and The Evil Within. Its essence involves reimagining these sci-fi vistas within my designs. To evoke disquieting emotions, I deliberately incorporated elements of horror, drawing from HR Giger's macabre art that blends organic forms with technology. The focal point is a muse undergoing a physical metamorphosis, echoing alien-like infestation and cybernetic enhancements. This juxtaposition results in an eerie concept, mirroring space's light-deprived vastness. Transparency and gold accents counterbalance the cosmic obscurity, fostering a sense of foreboding in the viewer. 'I think there is beauty in everything.
