About

my design ethos revolves around creating products that have a positive impact on people's lives. I believe that design should be both functional and aesthetically pleasing while being accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or abilities.

To achieve this, I focus on simplicity, elegance, and effectiveness in my designs. I rely on research insights and experimentation to refine my ideas and use a process of continuous iteration and improvement to create products that solve real world problems.

Collaboration and open communication are essential to my design process, and I value feedback from both designers and non-designers. I believe that a diversity of perspectives and ideas leads to the best solutions, and I am committed to creating inclusive design solutions that reflect the needs and experiences of all users.

Finally, I believe that design should be enjoyable and inspiring, and I am passionate about exploring new ideas and approaches to design. I am dedicated to creating products that not only function well but also bring joy and positivity to people's lives.

Problem Have you ever found yourself trapped in a perplexing cycle, where the devices intended to help you unwind and relax keep you wide awake? It’s hard to ignore the presence of electronic devices in our modern society, but have you ever pondered the impact they have on our sleep habits and overall wellbeing? During bedtime, many of us seek a means to wind down, often turning to our electronic devices. However, instead of promoting relaxation, these devices often stimulate our brains due to the blue light and the engaging content coming from the screen, causing us to stay awake even later. It appears that our reliance on these devices may impede our ability to establish positive sleep routines, with the stimulating effects of blue light and the captivating content on our screens playing a significant role in this digital dilemma. Proposal Cozi redefines sleep, revolutionizing bedtime with a focus on relaxation and healthy sleep habits. By seamlessly integrating technology and sensory experiences, Cozi takes sleep quality to new heights. Drawing inspiration from nudge theory and reward-based learning, Cozi empowers users to cultivate positive sleep habits effortlessly. Through gentle nudges, it encourages disconnection from devices and embraces the tranquil Cozi experience. With a simple phone screen dimming, Cozi invites users into a serene world. But Cozi goes further than dimming screens; it incorporates a rewarding system that engages the senses. The soothing fragrance of lavender fills the air, providing an aromatic incentive to detach from electronic distractions and indulge in Cozi’s plush comfort. Cozi provides personalized sleep environments by customizing heating and cooling. As the screen dims, Cozi gradually adjusts to the perfect sleep temperature, effortlessly guiding users into a peaceful sleep.
