Course / Program Title: Master of architecture
An architecture graduate from Monash University with professionnal experience in the Built Environment sector and a curiosity for how things work. My work pushes possibilities of design for disassembly, adaptive reuse and transient structures, challenging the permanence traditionally associated with architecture. I am particularly interested in interior architecture and spatial planning, with a focus on thoughtful spatial organisation and adaptability, while balancing contemporary interventions with the constraints, character and histories of existing structures.
Project Modus reimagines an underutilised park beside St Kilda’s National Theatre as a youth-oriented performance precinct, extending the suburb’s long-standing culture of live music into the public realm. While St Kilda retains a rich network of performance venues and cultural events, the majority of its infrastructure remains inaccessible to adolescents due to conventional age restrictions. Modus addresses this gap by introducing alcohol- and smoke-free spaces where young people can learn, rehearse, collaborate and perform across formal and informal settings. Modus offers more than a youth music venue, presenting an alternative model for extending live music culture through participation, accessibility and intergenerational exchange.
