Casey Leeming is photographer and videographer, based in Sydney, Australia. She is passionate about capturing the true essence of a moment and is inspired by representing people in their element. Casey’s style encapsulates the feeling of nostalgia, where her editing skills work together with her unique style of direction.
THE LISTENER AND THE BAND is a photographic narrative, following the journey of a man living in his home in the 1970s; his life consumed by his favourite band. This character openly adores this band, listening to them whilst doing his daily chores and mundane tasks, making his own life a little more exciting. His adoration for them begins to reflect in his own life; with the clothes he wears and the way he behaves. This story is a statement on how much The Listener and The Band truly impact each other, how certain people are idolised and most of all, how we all just want to be part of something.
