I began my studies in biology and psychology, disciplines that deepened my understanding of systems of behavior and meaning, yet I remained uncertain about where I belonged. That changed during a visit to a visual communication exhibition featuring exquisite editorial design and contemporary posters. The vibrant works revealed a living language of typography, image, narrative, and illustration sparking a profound passion for design. Since then, I have approached each project as part of an ongoing inquiry, where exploration evolves into clarity, and design becomes a method of forging meaning that is both intellectually rigorous and socially resonant.
White Rabbit is an iconic Chinese candy with deep cultural nostalgia, but its current packaging leans heavily on traditional Eastern motifs that don’t translate effectively for Western audiences. The goal was to reinterpret this beloved brand through a modern, globally resonant lens—leveraging contemporary design principles to create packaging that feels fresh, cohesive, and culturally sensitive while preserving the spirit of the original to the American market.
