About
Studying BA Fashion design has allowed me to express my love for fashion and art. Showing my specific style of feminine fashion with colours and silhouettes.
This is a portfolio based on my final year 2 projects. it was split into 3 different mini projects which are aimed for us to explore our own self worth. In these we worked towards making a coat, undergarment and creating a garment out of jersey using subtraction pattern cutting. My Coat is "exploring Proportion and Body Distortion" with frill and ruffles, the Undergarment highlights my fond childhood memory of stargazing with my dad when i was young, i decided to contrast cyber intergalactic fashion with the chic Chanel look, and the subtraction pattern cutting jersey was influence by femininity and camouflage caused from ivy.
Summer darling - year 2 summer project
over the summer we were given a brief to create a collection that is inspired by what we wore at the time. being summer i was inspired by the fruitful colours and playful pattens, giving a child like sense to the work i was creating. i wanted my designs to be well rounded, having multipul ideas that could be made and implemented into the collection.
In this Project, i have explored the full depth that GANNI has as a brand. Doing this i have explored the brands image and how it has become such a fast growing brand in such a short space of time.
