About

I am an illustrator, printmaker, and comics artist with a Master’s degree in Visual Communication from Konstfack. My practice revolves around artist books, comics, and zines, which I value for their ability to act as portable galleries that can be easily shared with others. I believe these formats have the power to inspire new ideas, address current issues, and offer a safe space for both mind and soul. In my creative process, I value the tactility of materials and the vibrancy of pigments, so I often work with analogue printmaking techniques. My illustrations are defined by thick black lines and humorous, imaginative settings. I often hide small details for viewers to discover over time. Ornament and detail are essential to my storytelling, allowing me to describe each place, object, and character with great care and personality. Since 2024, I have been focusing on comics and sequential storytelling, and I am currently developing my first graphic novel.

Burning Sands is a graphic novel exploring themes of home, belonging and migration. Its story is set in a fantastical world, covered by lethal sands, and inhabited by giant creatures with cities on their backs. People both welcome and fear their collision, as it brings opportunities for trade and migration, but also the possibility of a terrible disaster. I finished the first part of the graphic novel in June 2026 as my Master's thesis at Konstfack University of the Arts, Crafts and Design. Technique: Risography Dimensions: 183 mm x 283 mm, 32 pages
