About
I’m an Egyptian interior designer who loves art and storytelling. My work is rooted in strong concept development and brought to life through hand sketching and modelmaking. I design with both people and purpose in my mind, creating spaces that are meaningful and functional.
Kintsugi: The Japanese art of repairing broken fragments with gold; beauty in the broken. This concept shapes a vibrant Boarding School for Cairo's street children, dedicated to empowering them through an interactive learning journey that inspires independence and growth. Just like Kintsugi transforms fractures into art, the design embraces the children’s journey of healing, turning what was once broken into something whole. The proposal aims to provide safe shelter, education, and vocational training; offering children not only protection, but also the tools to build futures. Rooted in cultural and religious sensitivity, the design balances privacy with a nurturing sense of community in order to create a safe space.
