About
Hi I'm Andrew Davis! I’m known for creating bold, expressive illustrations with a strong sense of movement and energy. My background in animation has had a huge influence on my work, giving me a solid understanding of gesture, staging, and storytelling that carries over into every illustration I create. I enjoy working on a little bit of everything. From illustrations, characters, props, and backgrounds. Storytelling is at the center of everything I do. I love taking a simple idea and expanding it into a rich, believable world filled with charm, chaos, and memorable characters. These stories are filled with dragons, ghosts, and raccoon ninjas. I strive to create illustrations that don’t just look appealing, but feel alive, full of personality, movement, and narrative.
Trash Can Ninja is an original story pitch for an animated TV series. It follow Kuma, a mischievous raccoon who lives in the trash can behind a famous ramen restaurant. Determined to steal a bowl from the chef, he goes on a journey to become Japan's greatest ninja to take what he want, but finds something unexpected instead.
