About

I am a designer and ceramic artist working across ceramics, mosaics, circular design and digital technologies.

My practice explores how traditional craft techniques can be combined with emerging technologies to create new ways of working with materials and waste. I am particularly interested in ceramic fragments and in transforming discarded materials into meaningful objects, surfaces and systems. I combine hands-on making with design research, digital experimentation and prototyping. Through this interdisciplinary approach, I explore how craft can evolve through technology while maintaining a strong connection to materiality, creativity and human interaction. I hold a Master’s degree in Design, with a focus on materials and circular processes, and I am based in Switzerland.

From Fragments to Futures explores how discarded high-fired ceramics can become new design resources by combining traditional craft with digital technology. Through Trencadís, ceramic fragments are reassembled into prototypes for tiles and interior surface applications. Based on my original concept and material research, I collaborated on developing the digital layer: a fragment archiving system and web application that allows fragments to be scanned, organised and combined into different design variations, visualising possible tile compositions before physical assembly. A robotic arm and its control software further explore automated assembly. The project creates a bridge between hands-on craft and technology, proposing a circular workflow for future design.
