About

An interior design graduate driven by a strong commitment to community-centred, sustainable and environmentally responsible design, with particular interest in historical and culturally significant contexts. My designs are guided by a deep consideration of how people experience space, and place a strong value on understanding the communities that will inhabit it to create environments that are both meaningful and functional. You can expect a proactive collaborator who contributes ideas with confidence, embraces experimentation and continuously seeks growth through creative challenges.

Portobello Eco-Grief and Renewal Centre

A sanctuary shaped by the sea, the Portobello Eco-Grief and Renewal Centre recognizes climate grief on a personal and collective level. With the increase of climate-related catastrophes not only impacting the physical landscape but also the mental landscape of people directly affected by it, a space for action is needed now more than ever. Located at the Bellfield Community Centre in Edinburgh, a social heart of the community, this centre creates a shared environment where local residents, artists and scientists express eco-grief, exchange knowledge and learn from one another through creative and research led practice. Responding to coastal vulnerability in Scotland, the project explores seagrass as a nature-based solution to strengthen shorelines, capture carbon and restore biodiversity. Combining healing with environmental action, the centre is envisioned as a replicable framework that can be adapted by other communities facing climate loss, helping transform grief into resilience, care and collective renewal.
