I am a product designer passionate about creating products, services and experiences that help make people's lives easier, positive and filled with happier more meaningful moments. I am intrested in developing sustainable solutions that make the world we live in that little bit better.
Thelia is designed for individuals managing venous leg ulcers, particularly those receiving treatment in at home settings. It supports users who may have limited strength, dexterity or mobility, as well as carers responsible for assisting with daily wound care. The system is also relevant to clinicians seeking solutions that improve adherence to compression therapy outside of clinical environments. Thelia is a modular compression system that allows the sleeve to be worn loosely and comfortably before compression is introduced. Once positioned, Nitinol’s shape memory properties gently tighten the garment, reducing physical strain and simplifying application. The Thelia. Connect App allows the user to track their healing which benefits all; users, non-professional carers and clinicians alike.
