About
I’m a recent graduate from Winchester School of Art (University of Southampton), where I studied Graphic Arts. I specialise in typography and editorial design, and I’m currently developing skills in motion with a focus on making complex information more accessible and engaging. My work ranges from publication design to creating custom typefaces, using typography to reframe and communicate stories in clearer and more meaningful ways.I believe design should be intentional and inclusive, less about decoration, more about communication. My aim is to challenge assumptions, encourage understanding, and invite more people into the conversation.
Created in response to Cymraeg 2050, aiming for more Welsh speakers, my project celebrates the Welsh language as a vital part of cultural identity, whilst functioning as learning resources. The bilingual publication challenges the dominance of English by placing Welsh at the centre of its design and structure. AR features support learning and pronunciation, while my custom typeface, Hanes Modern, inspired by early Welsh manuscripts and designed to bring the heritage of Welsh identity into a modern context. This is shown in a type specimen alongside the main publication.
