the netverland - Superimposition of virtual world and physical world
NETverland is a narrative project that aims to imagine the future life of humans coexisting in a real and virtual environment proposing a superimposition of both worlds. The design concept is based on the narrative of Peter Pan. The visualisation of the story’s spatial setting is developed through the method of Montage, by fragmentation, addition, deduction of the reality and its reconstruction into a virtual world. To connect both, elements or objects within the physical space become the threshold into the virtual world. The idea of NETverland is to propose combinations of physical and virtual spaces which overlap and merge creating boundless spaces for social exchange. Thus, the project will reveal hidden interpretations of social concepts from the story of Peter Pan through AR experiences set within the illustration of a pop-up book.
