About
I am a women's knitwear designer, specialising in creating unique and high-quality garments. My designs are heavily influenced by fashion history and film, and I strive to honor traditional knitting techniques while incorporating modern practices and materials. I believe that fashion should be empowering, and takes pride in creating garments that make women feel confident, beautiful, and celebrated.
FINAL MAJOR PROJECT My collection draws inspiration from the façade of glamour that films such as Vertigo, Gilda and Rear Window portray. I explored the luxurious, unattainable characters that these films project along with the destruction and ruin underneath. I aimed to develop and present this through a mix of fabric construction, colour, materials, and texture choices. “its all make believe isn’t it” -Marilyn Monroe
