STELÁZSI is a unique storage system built around a refrigerator, offering a fresh perspective on replacing traditional kitchenettes in spaces where their installation is not feasible. By seamlessly integrating furniture, this concept empowers dormitory administrators to provide residents with the convenience of performing specific kitchen activities within their living area. This innovative approach enhances functionality and the overall residential experience, contributing to an improved quality of life and increased productivity for students. Balancing function and aesthetics, I aimed to strengthen the connection between residents and their new living space. Drawing from Hungarian kitchen aesthetics—checkered linens, lace, and enamelware—I captured a sense of home. The name pays homage to tradition, signifying an old pantry shelf.
