As a designer, I like working in a way that is structured but still open to play. I enjoy exploring, and shaping ideas into clear, engaging outcomes that feel honest and enjoyable to experience. My approach mixes clean geometry with a bit of personality, aiming to create work that is simple, thoughtful, and easy for people to connect with.
Spec·d is a mobile app that supports motorcyclist’s document and manage motorcycle maintenance through task based guidance, evidence logging, camera verification, and connect with the community for shared knowledge. Ireland is one of the only countries in Europe where motorcycles are not subject to mandatory roadworthiness testing. Across the EU and the UK, riders are legally required to have their bikes inspected every one to two years. Irish motorcyclists face no such obligation, and the gap in maintenance quality shows it. There are no statistics on Irish motorbike roadworthiness while the rest of the EU has an average of 85% - 95% roadworthiness. Spec·d is encouraging users to take ownership of routine upkeep as the app helps them reduce unnecessary mechanic visits and catch problems before they become costly.
