About
I found my interest in textiles and fashion at a young age and have been painting and illustrating since and currently enrolled in bachelor’s degree of Textile Design at RMIT University. I've completed 2 internships in Textile and Fashion respectively, which have given me valuable industry experience in both global and local businesses. I specialise in Textile Prints for fashion and interiors, and bespoke Textiles, but am open to other design opportunities and collaborations.
reconciliation
"Reconciliation" is a graduation collection of bespoke and printed textiles that blends nature-inspired textures with a gothic aesthetic. Drawing from Jakarta’s Muara Angke mangrove reserves, the collection incorporates the delicate forms of local fauna, such as snakes, lizards, and birds, fused with dark romanticism and gothic influences. The project reflects a personal journey of self-acceptance, embracing the rebellious past. Techniques such as hand-painting, laser cutting, sublimation dye, and digital printing bring the textiles to life, with the challenge of repurposing plastic into mock snakeskin. This hand-sewn collection taps into craftsmanship, self-reflection, and textile design.
