About
Passionate and dedicated designer aiming to make a positive impact through sustainable design practices. I have a research driven approach to the design process, utilizing evidence-based decisions to be able to create meaningful solutions.I have just finished my MA studies as a Product Designer at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design Budapest. My thesis project focused on more-than-human placemaking, and my goal was to create and link urban habitats for pollinators. I designed a multifunctional signage system, that provides nesting sites, food and drinking water for pollinators.
POLLiNo - multifunctional habitat for pollinators
Pollinators are a crucial part of healthy ecosystems, contributing significantly not only to biodiversity and resilience, but also to human nutrition and food supply. The aim of this project is to create and connect suitable habitats for pollinators, thereby enabling their mobility. Based on the principle of multifunctionality, I have designed a signage system where each element actively contributes to habitat creation with the help of integrated nesting sites, plant holders, and water sources. To achieve widespread implementation, the concept focuses on urban public spaces and provides versatile placement options. I showcase the feasibility of the project through a pilot product family designed for the MOME campus.
