Mariia Opaliuk (Mariia Opal) is a London-based accessories designer and a graduate of London College of Fashion, specialising in bags and accessories. Inspired by craftsmanship, innovation and artistic storytelling, she creates statement pieces that blur the line between fashion and wearable art. Her work explores movement, emotion, and the preservation of fleeting moments, transforming personal memories into sculptural accessories that invite curiosity and interaction. With a strong focus on meticulous handcraft and innovative construction, Mariia aims to push the boundaries of contemporary accessory design while creating pieces that leave a lasting emotional impression.Winner of National student glove competition in 2024 and 2026
Picnic is a collection inspired by my memories of spring and the fleeting moments that make the season so special. Blooming flowers, butterflies, family picnics and nature's awakening became the foundation of each design, transforming personal memories into wearable art. Every bag captures a different fragment of spring, celebrating growth, beauty and renewal through handcrafted leatherwork and innovative construction. Selected pieces feature kinetic elements that bring the designs to life, strengthening the connection between nature and craftsmanship. Picnic is a celebration of storytelling, emotion and the human touch, preserving moments that would otherwise fade with time.
