A while ago, I was diagnosed as having colour blindness. The realization provided some answers because I had unknowingly struggled with it all my life. But at the same time, it was still a heavy blow. Being a design, I am visual. It will be a constant struggle as I want to see and appreciate things as they are, however, it i s a condition I am learning to accept. Everyone has their own imperfections. This collection is about the beauty of imperfections. I have created fabric from extremely modest materials, in particular using fabric combined with pattern cutting paper. When the garments are washed, they lose their original structure and form, to create beautiful defects.
