About
Textile surface design and fashion accessories design is the way I translate the world around me into visual form. I find inspiration everywhere, in architecture, movement, nature, color, and the subtle patterns that exist in everyday life. These observations constantly influence my creative process. When I design, I try to capture these moments and transform them into surfaces that feel dynamic, expressive, and meaningful.For me, textile design is both an artistic exploration and a thoughtful process. I enjoy experimenting with color relationships, geometric structures, and organic forms to build patterns that communicate energy and rhythm. Each design begins with observation and curiosity. From there, I develop ideas through sketches, pattern studies, and surface explorations until the design evolves into a cohesive textile concept.Currently I am enrolled in the Fashion Business Management Program at Houston City College for a secondary A.A.S Degree. I have a Bachelors degree from F.I.T in textile Surface Design. I am aiming for masters in fashion business. I am also doing short courses at university of arts London online and parson school of design one year online program.
This top explores the balance between strength and femininity through a sculptural, feather-inspired design. Crafted using 50% cattle leather, the piece emphasizes durability while embracing fluidity in form. Sustainability Approach: In creating this piece, I focused on mindful material use and responsible design. I worked with 50% cattle leather, prioritizing durability and longevity so the garment can exist beyond seasonal trends. To reduce waste, I carefully planned the pattern layout and used smaller offcuts to form the layered feather details, transforming excess material into intentional design elements. Each piece was cut and assembled with precision to minimize leftover waste while maintaining craftsmanship. By emphasizing slow, thoughtful construction and maximizing material efficiency, this design reflects my commitment to creating fashion that is both expressive and environmentally conscious. Similar to it, the brown armor piece reimagines natural feather structures through layered leather craftsmanship, transforming softness into strength. Constructed from 50% cattle leather, the design balances durability with fluid movement, creating a sculptural silhouette that feels both protective and expressive. Followed by an architecture style. Sculpted Silence 🤍 An architectural leather dress designed with intention where structure meets sustainability. Embossed texture replaces excess, and every fold is engineered for longevity, not trend.
