Driven by a strong focus on innovation and specialising in technical, functional design, Sean Pajarillo is a menswear designer whose work is rooted in the intersection of utilitarian frameworks and the architectural subversion of utility. Leveraged through digital workflows in CLO3D, his work is deeply informed by conceptual worldbuilding—drawing parallels between contemporary socio-political events and speculative fiction to craft narrative-driven garments grounded in real-world contemporary fashion.
Exploring the evolving relationship between the human body, technological innovation, and the constructed environment, using the lens of Japanese Metabolist architecture and (bio)mechanical design within dystopian fiction to reimagine clothing as an adaptive organism. It proposes garments as extensions of both body and city - structures that reflect the tension between human adaptability, technological integration, and socio-economic systems
