About
I am Antonino Reinoso, an Integral Designer trained at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and based in Barcelona. I recently completed my Master's degree in Product Design and Development at Elisava.
I specialize in object design and digital fabrication, with a deep interest in exploring future scenarios through speculative design. I am driven to discover new objectual possibilities through research and material experimentation, supported by parametric and generative 3D modeling.
My approach aims to translate theory and innovation into tangible, sustainable solutions, always placing the human experience as the fundamental pillar of every project.
We spend 90% of our lives indoors, trapped in hermetically sealed spaces where accumulated CO₂ and VOCs trigger Sick Building Syndrome and silently degrade our cognitive performance. Traditional mechanical purifiers only trap dust, turning into non-recyclable waste while ignoring these toxic, invisible gases. Lumet is a Metabolic Luminaire for Environmental Bio-purification that redefines the air we breathe. Powered by a living microalgae culture (Arthrospira platensis), its elegant borosilicate core utilizes an active airlift system and alkaline medium to chemically wash airborne toxins. Through active photosynthesis, Lumet captures CO₂, releases fresh oxygen, and transforms indoor pollution into a harvestable bio-fertilizer; creating a truly zero-waste, regenerative domestic ecosystem.
