About

I’m a product designer with a passion for creating thoughtful, functional products and exploring how emerging technologies can shape the way we design and manufacture. With a background in Product Design, I’m particularly interested in the intersection of design, technology and manufacturing. One of my main projects during my degree was La Moon, a lounge chair designed for younger adults and inspired by the shape of a crescent moon. The project explored how form, comfort and materiality could come together to create a distinctive yet functional piece of furniture. I developed the chair through research, prototyping and hands-on making, working with materials including birch plywood and tensile fabric and considering CNC manufacturing and flat-pack construction.I’m currently starting my master's degree in Digital Design and Manufacturing, where I’ll be developing my knowledge and technical skills in preparation for a career in the additive manufacturing industry. I’m particularly interested in how digital manufacturing and additive manufacturing can open up new possibilities in product development, prototyping and production.I’m excited to continue developing my skills across both creative and technical disciplines and build a career at the intersection of product design and advanced manufacturing.

La Moon is a lounge chair designed for the younger Gen Z audience, inspired by the soft, recognisable form of a crescent moon. The project explores how playful, sculptural forms can be combined with comfort, functionality and practical manufacturing. The chair was developed through iterative prototyping to refine its scale, proportions and ergonomics. It features an 18 mm birch plywood structure combined with a tensile fabric seat, creating a lightweight and visually distinctive design. The final product was designed with CNC manufacturing and flat-pack construction in mind, allowing the chair to be efficiently manufactured, transported and assembled.
