About
Hi!My name is Amalia. Up until two years ago I had nothing to do with farming or soil in any form. Now, two years later I call myself an Ambassador for Kulturzentrum Erde - cultural center of soil in Englisch - an institution I invented. How did that happen? That's a long story, but the result of my research and my learning is my wish to bring other people on the path of caring more about soil.
Topsoil is vanishing at an alarming rate. To safeguard future generations, we must reconnect with soil by organizing hands-on workshops, promoting composting and regenerative agriculture, so that stewardship becomes a daily habit and a policy priority for all. With Kulturzentrum Erde (en: Cultural Center of Soil) we can start doing it. This institution questions conventional agriculture by placing soil at the heart of our joint responsibility. Here, people work together to examine habits, exchange ideas, and find new ways to support the very foundation of life through everyday choices and actions. The concept was first realised in the form of a pop-up.
