About
Wei Tan is an environment concept designer and visual development lead with over ten years of experience in game production. Her work explores how architecture and atmosphere influence people’s emotions, movement, and experience of space.
A first-person video game inspired by the relocations of the London Mithraeum. The player enters the gallery as a visitor, touches a temple stone, and receives a task from Mithras: carry the stone through three levels — the past, the present, and a speculative future — and listen to the stories at each site. The core research question is: how can an embodied gaming experience reveal how financial and institutional power reshape space, suppress public voices, and compel physical adaptation?
