Ceramic Artist
Gentle Ground is a project that explores the relationship between location, objects and memory. Working alongside the natural world and forever being inspired by all its mystic elements and beauty, I intend to highlight how nature can aid us in transforming our feelings into ideas. Focusing on functional and collectable pieces, I aim for my work to create a bond between the owner and the object, generating feelings of nostalgia and appreciation for slow crafted objects. Each piece is accompanied by a small ceramic charm to link the future owner to their new object, as well as the maker. I hope for my work to house stories and memories, and to remind us to go a little slower in this life.
