About
I’m Bernat Navarro, a Product and Interior Designer with a background in construction and project development. I’m constantly working on personal projects and learning new skills, driven by a curiosity to explore, build and find new ways of solving problems through design.I have a particular passion for wood and the processes behind making things. I’m fascinated by furniture, not only as an object, but by the way we interact with it and how it shapes and coexists with the spaces around us.
Brota is a hybrid seat that functions as both a stool and a chair. It is primarily designed for children’s study spaces from the age of six onwards, with the ambition of accompanying its users throughout their lives. Brota embraces a deliberately low-tech approach while offering a radically sustainable solution: it is 100% recyclable and 100% repairable. Its durability and ease of repair make it a cost-effective solution, while reducing the environmental impact associated with replacing an entire chair. By extending the product’s lifespan through simple maintenance and repair, Brota promotes a more sustainable approach to everyday furniture.
