Madelyn Jane is an emerging fashion designer with a unique style that filtrates all of her work. Highly feminine with masculine accents, each of her designs seeks to embrace the power of femininity, encouraging wearers to also feel powerful in identifying with their feminine self.Through her material exploration, the Australian Fashion Designer has developed her skills extensively specialising in the creation of new textiles. These include fabric felting with silks, creating textiles using scobys from fermenting kombucha, creating silicone fashion and experimenting with alternate materials through the creation of wearable art.Madelyn is now focussed on gaining more experience in digital fashion, learning Clo3D, StyleCAD for pattern making and pushing her skills in the adobe suite as the world turns more digital. She is also more focussed on sustainable design through the choice of her materials and methods to create garments that have low impact on the environment and can be loved by the wearer for a lifetime.She also specialises in couture evening wear, creating wedding dresses and ball dresses for clients, as well as physical fashion illustration using a range of mediums including watercolour and ink.Each piece created by Madelyn Jane comes from her deep passion for creating for others, which she has felt since she was very young. With the belief that every person should have the opportunity to express their true self through clothing and the clothing compliment their lifestyle, Madelyn creates with the wearer in mind, consciously making design decisions to create beautiful, unique pieces.
