About
This project aims to discuss the liminal identity in liquid modernity through experimental menswear couture. Based on Bauman’s liquid modernity and van Gennep’s "Rites of Passage," it redefines liminality as a continuous state rather than a temporary flaw. The study examines the relationship between the true self and the socially formed self through deconstructed tailoring, 3D printing, and liquid and material experiments to visualize a fluid, fragmented identity.
