Sichen Lin is a visual communication designer and visual artist. He graduated from the Beijing Institute of Technology with a Major in visual communication. The name of my project is the Arrival Fallacy. "Arrival fallacy is this illusion that once we make it, once we attain our goal or reach our destination, we will reach lasting happiness,” The Arrival fallacy was created by Dr. Tal Ben- Shahar, a Harvard-trained expert on positive psychology. The project is divided into two parts. The first part is publications. Through this publication I hope people fully understand the concept of the arrival fallacy, I want people to reflect on their expectations for achieving goals. Achieving a goal does not lead to lasting happiness. The second part is an interactive game. The game has epiphyllum growth to represent the process of achieving goals. I hope that through this game, People who have experienced the Arrival Fallacy should pay attention to the little happiness in the process when chasing the goal, so as to reduce the impact of Arrival Fallacy on people.
