About
My unified design context and the atmosphere for each of the project, is that: Self-discovery is an art, and self-acceptance is a practice. And my works always convey a very strong emotion in its visual effect of my personal identity. For me, I prefer the kind of handi stuff, because I think the craftsmanship can bring people a strong emotional atmosphere as soon as they see my work. In 2023, on my second trip to Tibet, I knew Tenzin in Gyirong town in the southern foothills of the Himalayas, where Tibet meets Nepal. She is the first transgender Buddhist in the Himalayan Tibetan region to disclose his transgender identity and has been accepted by his family and the local social environment. Tenzin presents a sharp contradiction between individual identity and the sociocultural environment, and this is in fact a concrete manifestation of the conflict of many cultures and consciousnesses in the current society.
