ARTS THREAD's Alex Brownless and Katie Dominy will tell you how to do it all for free. The talk will look at use of imagery, websites, online portfolios, newsletters and social media, so you can promote what you do to a wider audience.

Julian Gardner is a Design Director/Art Director, specialising in Brand identity creation and tone of voice, Conceptual designs and Packaging designs. Being in the industry for over 20 years, he is very passionate about brand design and packaging and always thrives on being creatively challenged.
He started out working for over 9 years for Springetts Brand Design Consultancy working his way up to being Design Director then 3 years working for Jones Knowles Ritchie. In the last 6 years he's freelanced for some of the leading Global design agencies such as: Interbrand, Brand Union, Pearlfisher, Elmwood, Coley Porter Bell, Bloom to name just a few.
Nick Chubb is a Senior Industrial Designer at IDC in London, designing consumer products and medical devices for some of the world's leading brands. He has a 1st Class Masters Degree in Product Design and assesses hundreds of design portfolios each year. He acts as lead portfolio advisor for Product Design at Arts Thread, and is often invited to give talks at leading Universities on the subject of design.
