About
Jasmine has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Fashion Design from the Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi) Faculty of Design and Environment .After graduation, she work immediately in a costume design company, participated in the production for the theme park, world class theatre and entertainment shows. Currently, working in both costume and fashion design area.She has won awards as 2nd Runner Up from Thei graduation fashion show 2019 and Splendid Fashion Design Competition 2018. Also, she was shortlisted as finalist of the Redress Design Awar 2023 and finalist of Future Cut Fashion Design Competition Asia. Jasmine seeks inspiration mainly from art，history and cultural things, to create hers feminine and contemporary style.
Jasmine’s Redress Design Award collection, ‘Over the Midnight of Doomsday Clock’, regenerates plastic and electronic waste into unique beadings and sequins to present the image of modern fossils. She also sources recyclable materials, including end-of-roll recycled nylon and natural fibres like cotton and wool, as well as bio-based sorona, which is made from corn. The pleated skirt and ruffle pattern are designed with zero waste, enriched by various flower shapes, ruffles, and volume from pattern overlapping. Jamine’s collection features a black and dark colour palette and different styling options for added versatility and longevity.
