About
I have had a passion for design since I was a child. My quest for social recognition and my understanding that design is an essential part of our everyday lives has always been with me.
This paper sheds light on the challenges in German school buildings, which are often over 50 years old. The new pedagogical requirements are presented in the ‘School 2.0’ concept, which provides a modern solution despite the limited budget and the status as a listed building. The aim is to solve the existing problems and create a modern, inspiring learning environment. The proposed principles could also be transferred to other school projects. The future concept for the spatial design of the primary school as part of my master's thesis comprises two key areas: New ROOM PROGRAMMES The new spatial programme should promote a dynamic and adaptable learning environment that meets the individual needs of the pupils and at the same time optimises the efficiency of the entire school space. DESIGN REALISATION The creative and appealing design implementation is intended to create an inspiring atmosphere that has a positive effect on learning behaviour.
