VARIABILITY. ATTIRE AND BODY. COLLECTION
The project tackles the theme of distorted body image and its natural transformation, all in relation to compulsive control stemming from societal and cultural norms. The graduation collection serves as a reflection on the body, addressing the topic of its natural transformation regardless of imposed beauty standards. The aspects discussed in earlier considerations laid out in the text serve as a starting point for designing a collection of seven silhouettes of women’s clothing, which subtly explores the theme of variability and distorted body image. The designs emphasize the complexity and paradoxes associated with the body, while drawing inspiration from diverse forms and materials.
