Patients can apply to community groups and clubs that furthers recovery and enables them to connect their social interests with their healthcare goals. This in turn increases their rate of healing exponentially. --Context-- Healthy behaviours play an important role in wound healing. Studies demonstrate that regular exercise increases the rate of wound recovery by 25%. Additionally, it is found, that wound healing requires a 250% increase in protein intake. Due to the unpredictable rate of healing, patients are left with an estimated recovery date. These healthy behaviours of self-care are daily challenges, as patients invariably lack motivation and purpose in their journey to recovery.
