Nowadays, there has been increasing awareness on LGBTQ rights, but LGBTQ communities remain relatively invisible and silenced in mainland China. Some people even perceive LGBTQ identity politics as an invasion of Western ideas against traditional Chinese ethics.And such unfriendly social opinions make LGBTQ people vulnerable to bullying and often self-denial, even suicidal. But are such opinions of LGBTQ identity politics true and fair? How did the LGBTQ groups develop? What are their needs at the moment? Where does their future lie? With these questions, I researched the social background and development history of LGBTQ in chronological order. Then I design my research result to a travelling exhibition to throw this social issue and spark public discussion. Let the public understand that homosexuality has existed in China since ancient times. At the same time, it can encourage LGBTQ people to better accept themselves. Suppose the historical development can be visualized according to the timeline in the research part. Then the cube can be used as a carrier to seal the history of each dynasty in it. The behaviour of people stepping into the cube symbolizes crossing the distance of time and space to enter a specific dynasty and find the historical secrets. So my concept is the "Secret time cubes". White modular cubes stand silently on the ground, waiting for people to come and explore.
