About
Hey everyone,
I'm a German jewellery designer exploring the creative possibilities of jewellery through a wide range of materials — including those that are less commonly used. In my work, I often engage with social and political aspects of adornment and its meaning. I ask critical questions about wearability and non-wearability — both conceptually and within the objects themselves — to challenge conventional ideas of what jewellery represents. This experimental approach allows me to discover new perspectives on what jewellery can be and helps me develop my own distinct style and visual language.
On Repeat is an artistic exploration of repetition and difference as conceptual strategies for conveying political messages through jewellery. The project comprises various works that all deal with repetition and difference, both as formal techniques and in terms of their philosophical approaches. Grounded in these conceptual frameworks, each work articulates a feminist perspective, inviting both the viewer and the wearer to reflect, engage, and respond. Through this interplay of form, theory, and personal experience, On Repeat challenges conventional narratives and opens space for dialogue around gender, identity, and power.
