Graphic designer base in Baltimore. Focusing on typography and branding.
Emotional changes are related to people's life conditions. During my study abroad, my mood swings intensified due to the drastic changes in my living environment. Learning to reconcile with emotions and mitigate their negative effects is a common challenge people face in life. This project uses a variety of graphic languages to record the complexity of my everyday emotions. Different emotions are symbolized and applied to a series of diaries segmented into timelines. These diaries serve as visual testaments to the flow of emotions over time, illustrating the shape and changing process of emotions in daily life. By capturing the transient nature of emotions, the project conveys the concept that “emotions, like time, are constantly flowing,” and reminds the audience not to be overly affected by short-term emotions.
