Hii!! I am Laxmi Jain, currently pursuing fashion design at Pearl Academy, Delhi West.
I am seeking experience and opportunity to work in a challenging environment that will enable me to learn and execute skills requisite in the fashion industry.
Rebel Tartan Project was a collaboration with NTU, Pearl Academy, Dongua and Bunka School of Fashion. The project is crafted with an inclusive spirit, this garment is designed to gracefully adorn every body type, celebrating the diversity of its wearers. It is a vivid representation of the impact of climate change, crafted from carefully sourced waste fabric and elements of e-waste. Beyond its symbolic message, the garment offers a touch of personalization: keyboard keys and rubber bands are cleverly incorporated, allowing wearers to customize and adapt the piece to their unique aesthetic. It's not just a garment but a statement on adaptability, sustainability, and the constant flux of our environment.
