Anastasiia Ishchenko is an ambitious director and photographer who is discovering cinema in its various forms. She is a director, camerawoman, screenwriter and editor. She aspires to physically capture memories in various forms of art and to create cinema without boundaries. Her ambition is to teach cinema to feel life and pain, such that all people truly feel and experience the lives of others. In her memories, she can feel the taste of the past, and over time, the taste of these feelings become distorted and eventually disappear altogether. Her desire is to create is an eternal piece of art that can always return her to those true feelings. In her work she explores the themes of nostalgia, lost opportunities, and the pain of losing loved ones.
Unspoken words is a film-letter addressed by a girl in love to her lover who has passed away. She addresses him with the words she never said to him during his lifetime and tries to find answers in his ever-deforming memory.
