About
Passionated about textile treatment and print, David Singarella uses fashion as a form of autobiography to inspire his audience. Sensitive on topics such as self love, healing and vulnerability, his collection is built as a narrative where each look embodies its own translation. Fascinated by the idea of turning the negative into positive, David Singarella strongly believes that our strengths are within what makes us feel vulnerable. Kindness and empathy are important values for him, carried throughout his work.
Reborn retraces the journey of healing through the lens of resilience and hope. It showcases how to transform a pain from the past into something empowering and beautiful. It brings a light on emotional scars as something that should not feel like a burden anymore. Because it is important to show how the pain from the past does not define who we are as individual. Textile becomes a self reflection and meditative space where contrast meet. Texture such as roughness and softness dialogues, just as the suffering from the past with the hopes from the present. Healing is then a center part of the narrative, shown as an authentic and no linear process.
