Kinemo is a home-based mobility assessment and coaching system designed for adults over 65. Harnessing single-camera, real-time 3D motion-capture, it measures markers of mobility - functional flexibility, dynamic balance and physical strength - using clinically validated tests. Over time, these become tangible progress metrics, boosting user motivation to keep going. Crucially, it generates real-time visual feedback on users’ movements to guide correct form, joint alignment and intensity, maximising health benefits for each exercise. Kinemo uses this intuitive feedback to guide users through routines designed to slow or avert the onset of musculoskeletal disorders. Developed hand-in-hand with seniors, researchers, and physiotherapists Kinemo makes proactive mobility management both rewarding and empowering.
