Winner of Vogue talents award and 'Avery Dennison Brand innovation award' at 'International Talent Support' (ITS) 2012  in italy, This 27 year old Israeli fashion designer currently resides in Tel-Aviv and graduated from Shenkar College of Engineering, Art and Design. His ‘Woven Bird’ collection, as any of his other designs, is entirely handmade by himself. He says, “I began with a simple silhouette of thin metallic wires, I used it as the external skeleton and sewed the garment over it as if it were made of slim muscles and feathers growing around the bone.” Filep of 'Un Nouveau Ideal' commented on his collection saying: “Mark Goldenberg is probably the next couturier, but he doesn’t know it yet. Fashion at this very moment starves for someone who can provide vision and craft as well as inspiration to the rest of his colleagues. I think that he can be the one.”      On a personal note: Throughout my university courses in 'Shenkar college of engineering art & design' (Designer Alber Elbaz is a graduate of my school) I undertook a wide variety of work experience, including a position as a women's fashion designer at SELA FASHION, where i was assigned to develop the upcoming winter 2013/14 Women's collection. I have a flair for colour and textures, an innate understanding of trends and the sensitivity needed to be working with most fabrics. Just recently I was honored to be 'Winner at International Talent Support (ITS) competition 2012", and my collection was chosen by Vogue Italia to be published in a special editorial. I have exceptional illustration and artwork skills and particularly enjoy working with silk and lace to design feminine pieces, and I can always be found experimenting with my own creations at home.    For many years I have immersed myself in all the latest international fashion news, allowing myself to stay one step ahead of trends and keep my eye out for new, up-and-coming designers. My favourite labels include Yohji Yamamoto, Alber Elbaz, Christopher Kane, Vivienne Westwood, and many others.   I believe that my combination of unpaid work experience at Diane von Furstenbergand in N.Y, together with my skills and knowledge in all the relevant softwares needed for a fashion designer (Photoshop / Illustrator / Corel Draw) has provided me with the necessary skills to be a vital resource in any label that may consider me.
