Driven by a passion for materials, my interest lies in experimentation and manipulation; such as mixing metal and clay, layering incompatible glazes and disrupting the clay bodies themselves, to achieve unpredictable and intriguing results. I embrace spontaneity and aim to capture a raw energy in my work.

Much of my inspiration comes from natural phenomena; from biological structures to geology, symbiosis and particularly the ambiguity between chaos and order. I am interested in dramatic textures, impactful and multi-faceted colour and abstract, unconventional form.

A recent graduate, I am about to begin an MA in Ceramics & Glass at the Royal College of Art in London. Prior to this I was working as a senior creative in the digital advertising world, my background being graphic design.
